We are writing this letter to sincerely thank the financial aid committee for the extremely generous support by the Hebrew Free Loan Association of our daughter S, as she pursues her education in Israel. We know that during these difficult times there are many families like ourselves who are not able to see an end in sight when it comes to increasing financial responsibilities and whose children literally could not be attending school without your help. This alleviates some of our worries and it is comforting to know that there is a place we can turn to in our community when we need a helping hand.

With your considerate help in the past years, combined with sheer determination and hard work, our two oldest girls are happy having made careers for themselves, based on a solid college education, which included an Israel learning experience. We hold this to be a very important priority. On a daily basis, our thoughts are consumed with concern over continuing to finance the education of our son E (which HFLA has helped us with as well) and now S, in an effort to seeing it through to the end so that they can stand on their own two feet as well and be contributing members of this community. Your assistance has helped us realize the possibility of reaching this goal.

We would also like to express our thanks for the sensitivity shown to us in terms of our dignity and privacy, and the efficiency and professionalism by Michal Marcus.
